Jachtmakelaardij Kappers is at the ready for you six days a week. You are more than welcome to visit our sales marina, where you can view all our ships that are for sale. You can view the boats, board them and ask us all your questions. We provide tailor-made advice.

There are approximately fifty ships – ranging between 10 and 20 metres – berthed in our selling harbour. A gigantic offer, where you have the opportunity to easily compare different ships. Buying a boat is all about emotion, which means you should take your time to properly view the boats you are interested in. Perhaps you have seen a boat on the Internet prior to visiting, but while visiting, fall in love with an entirely different boat. We make sure that you find the boat that suits you.

The Inspection

It is advisable to have your boat inspected by an independent Hiswa expert. This way, you meet your obligation to investigate and you gain more insight into the state of the boat. It is entirely up to you whether you would like to have the boat inspected.

This inspection lasts roughly a day and consists of the following:

• A test drive;
• Taking the boat out of the water;
• Underwater inspection;
• Check all systems;
• Check electrics;
• Engine inspection.

After the inspection, you will have a clear view of the condition of the boat.

Legal transfer

The boat has been approved and you can’t wait to take it out on a trip. Before we can hand you over the boat, a legal transfer must take place. We check whether the VAT has been paid, there is a mortgage on the ship and if the ship is registered under the correct name in the ship registry.

If all of this is in order, you can sign the purchase agreement and the deed of delivery. Our transactions take place via Stichting Derdengelden (Trust for third-party account). This gives you maximum financial security. The definition of purchasing a boat carefree.
