The Stentor 1300 is a very stable yacht and is easy to maneuver. The ship is seaworthy and very suitable for the French canals. The entire ship was sprayed AWL-grip in 2013. The stabilizers work great. In the case of waves, the ship remains calm and will not roll. These stabilizers are oversized (suitable up to 40 tons) and therefore extra effective.

Additional information
This Stentor 1300 is a very solid and reliable yacht. With its good and stable sailing characteristics and extensive technical inventory, it is also an ideal vessel for larger trips and longer stays on board. All technology is expertly and clearly arranged. The Stentor is equipped with deflector plates throughout the ship. This, combined with a well-insulated engine compartment and soft engine mounts, means you can travel silently. Outside you only hear the swirling water, inside it sounds like the boat works on electricity.

Owner's comment
We are Ria and Wil, currently together 150 years young. With our previous used motor boat, a Ten Broeke 15-meter, built in 1966, we cruised for 21 years, especially in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany. All maintenance and renovations were done by myself.
In 2004 I was handing over our business to our son. Then we wanted to broaden our horizons, bought a super seaworthy and well-maintained Stentor 13, which is suitable for long-term stays on board, with the galley centrally located between saloon and aft deck, large water and diesel tanks and lots of storage space, departed to the south and spent the winter in France. Every year back and forth and every time via a different waterway, also by sea. In 2010 we decided to travel via the Rhine and the Danube to Turkey (where we spent the winter) and to cruise via the Greek islands, to Albania and Italy and then, after spending the winter in France, to travel back together with another motor boat from our motor boat club. But Ria told me that if we would spent so much at sea, she wanted stabilizers, so I built in the Naiad stabilizers together with a specialist. There was also a new radar, autopilot and much more. The boat did a great job even with waves of really 4 meters that we certainly did not look for, but which happened twice to the Black Sea and Marmare Sea and once a swell of four meters at Marseille. The stabilizers also worked perfectly with winds of 3 to 7 and waves from other ships on inland waterways. Ria has made 10 files of travel reports, which might be very interesting for those who want to make such trips. It contains a lot of port tips. The boat is well maintained by me and all is written in a logbook. In 2017 we arrived in our home port again. My Ria had problems with her balance, so we decided to offer the boat for sale in 2019.
Kappers seemed to us to be a suitable broker close to the sea and many sailors who want to stop sailing and purchase a seaworthy motor boat, that is also suitable for the French canals and can also sail on the Rhine without a Rhine patent.
Sincerely Ria and Wil.
