This characterful and spacious Combi Spiegelkotter is offered to you by its first owner. The yacht was completed in December 2006, after which it was transferred to its current owner in February 2007.
Although it looks as if the yacht has a wooden wheelhouse, this Combi has a fully steel superstructure. With the so-called 'wooden' (painting technique with the structure and colour of real wood) of the steel wheelhouse, the yacht gets a chic and characterful appearance, without the maintenance of an actual wooden superstructure.
The yacht has an electrically retractable mast, with which the headroom of approximately 6.75 meters can easily be lowered to a creep height of 2.80 meters. Because of the creep height it is very suitable for inland water and for example French canals. With CE category B, this Combi Cutter is also suitable for sailing wider, and even coastal waters.

VW Marine Overhanding-Inspection 21-01-2007: Since then, the engine has received periodic maintenance, with all service intervals documented in the maintenance book. In accordance with the instructions of VW Marine, the timing belt was replaced twice, the last time at 1,235 hours (d.d. 26-02-2019).
The Volkswagen Marine TDI 120, concerns a nicely running 5 cylinder and offers more than sufficient power for the yacht. The engine is generously proportioned, in a clean and orderly engine room. It is operated by means of electric motor control.

Owner's comment
In 2005 we decided to have the Combi-Spiegelkotter built. We made this choice because we liked to be on the water and relax there. Because of our busy life we always only had short weekends and once a year 2.5 weeks holiday. With the purchase of a boat we were able to enjoy our weekends to the fullest and were really free after work.
After seeing several yacht builders we ended up at Shipyard De Combinatie. The price/quality came into its own there and the owners had years of experience, partly because it was a family business of several generations. The ships built in this way were pure soundness and they installed professional equipment, mostly from professional shipping. At the same time the ship could be finished exactly to our own wishes. Construction began in 2006. We went weekly and took pictures regularly. In January 2007 our ship was delivered and the enjoyment could begin.
Every weekend we were on board and if we could, we went for a little sail. We only had an upstairs apartment above our company and the boat was our second home, where we spent a lot of time. From now on, the holiday was all about water sports. Every year we take a different route: the Maas, the Waal, the Randmeren, Zeeland, the IJsselmeer and many other rivers in the Netherlands.
Less pleasant things we have also experienced, and learned from. We've been in a big storm twice. This was in the first year with our boat, but the ship held up very well and stayed on course despite the high waves. For us this was ultimately a confirmation of our good choice: a strong, solid ship that even with wind force 7 /8 his male.
Because we bought a house in 2017 with a beautiful garden in a quiet village, we also found our peace there. We are now busy renovating and therefore have less and less time for the boat. Actually, this made the boat overcrowded. We have now decided to say goodbye to our Cornelis and offer the ship for sale. The idea after the sale is to make occasional day trips on the water with a small, fast boat on a trailer. The longer holidays we want to spend more outside Europe, probably without a boat.
We have enjoyed our ship very much and hope that new owners will be able to enjoy our ship as much as we did.
