Additional information
The Nimbus 380 is a very practical boat with many innovations. To start with, boarding the boat is very easy because of the large bathing platform (with storage space) and the transom door. The cockpit is equipped with fixed benches. A solid stainless steel sliding door provides access to the saloon. The living space has enough space for 4 (or more) persons. Now on display in the Kappers sales harbour in Willemstad.
Owner's comment
After the sale of our sailboat we were looking for a polyester motorboat that was big and fast enough to sail at sea. After many viewings we bought this Nimbus 380 in 2017. Originally the boat was blue, but that colour was against us. Our previous boat also had a grey hull, so we had the hull wrapped. At the same time we had the cushions and the cockpit tent replaced so that it felt like a new boat to us. Last 2 years we sailed mainly within the Netherlands and Belgium, the Dutch coasts and the Wadden Sea.
Despite the fact that we had a lot of fun on the boat, our sailing plans have also changed a bit and we come to the conclusion that we will sail less and less at sea. When the Nimbus is sold, we will look for a smaller and lower boat to be able to sail straight through Amsterdam.
