The Jeanneau Prestige 42S is a contemporary sports cruiser at its best. The yacht is extremely well thought out and has a very nice and practical layout for a comfortable stay on board. For example, the yacht has a nice round seat at the stern and a spacious swimming platform. From the swimming platform there is access to a dinghy garage. In the wheelhouse there is a second living area, where it is comfortable to stay under all weather conditions, because of the electrically operated sliding roof and rear window. Below deck is a comfortable and very nice interior, with kitchen, round seat two cabins and two wet rooms.
To keep the yacht both technically and cosmetically in good and beautiful condition, the current owner has invested significantly over the past two years (approximately € 60,000), with many (technical) renewals.

The Prestige 42 S (Sport top) is equipped with a large sliding roof so you have a multifunctional space in the wheelhouse. In bad weather you can steer and sit dry and protected. In good weather, you can slide open the entire roof, lower the rear window electrically and sail into the open air.
On board, both cabins have their own wet cell. With the removal of the toilet in the rear wet cell, it is assigned as a shower room (a toilet can be placed back).
The outside shower can be switched to potable water or outside water.

Volvo Penta's Inboard Performance System (IPS) makes it possible to control the entire vessel with 1 joystick, making it extremely easy to maneuver. The joystick even allows you to sail sideways making docking easy and stress-free. In 2020 the IPS system was overhauled including 4 new IPS control computers.
Engine had a major overhaul in 2020 with new filters, oil, belts, tensioners and impellors and the 8 batteries were replaced. There is also a new Victron Centaur, 60 amp battery charger installed.
Under the cockpit is a large storage room, annex dinghy garage, large enough to easily store your tender. The hatch flips up electrically, giving you easy access to the storage room/garage.
