Additional information
This motorboat is based on drawings of the Noordkaper. A tough and stubborn appearance. Because of the shallow draft (70 cm) and a creep height of only 2.30 mtrs you have a large sailing area at your disposal. The interior has recently been beautifully finished and all installations have been reinstalled.

The carriage
We were not really looking yet, but we were always looking for playful boats. Eventually we wanted something sturdy and preferably a boat which could go to almost any place. This boat weighs about 9 tons, can take a beating and is low enough to sail anywhere.
The casco of the boat was built based on drawings of a Noordkaper at a real shipyard.
At that time the hull was ready but not completely finished. We decided to take out all the old stuff and re-plaster it with this beautiful result. We installed everything from heating to water pipes and electricity.
The carpentry we did together with a carpenter. We think it is beautiful and functional. It is compact but everything you need is there. You can also use it in the winter.
We have often taken it out for day trips to the Biesbosch with the family. We have spent 3 weeks on board and sailed a beautiful route in the Netherlands. The boat sails under everything when the mast is down and doesn't go too deep. We sailed via Rotterdam - Katwijk - Alkmaar - Medemblik - Stavoren - Steenwijk - Harderwijk and via Muiden - Utrecht and Gorinchem back to Lage Zwaluwe.
Weekends to Willemstad, Woudrichem and Breda were wonderful and everything is possible with this little ship.
The mast is just too nice to shorten and makes this ship very special.
