The yacht can be sailed with the main sheet traveller and the self tacking jib, even by one person. Although it is an easy sailing yacht, you have little to nothing to compromise on sailing characteristics and speed. The Hanse 400 has a comfortable, but fast hull and is one of the best sailing yachts in its segment.

Hanse has long been the absolute trendsetter, with regard to yachts of the latest generation: fresh and modern looking, without losing the character of a boat. The mahogany-style woodwork with high-gloss finish, combined with the white leather upholstery, gives it a luxurious look. There is plenty of room and comfort on board. With three cabins, there is enough space to stay with 6 or more comfortably. The large front cabin offers a lot of floor space, and therefore an extremely pleasant place to retreat.

Additional information

Young Hanse 400e, from first owner. Unlike the standard Hanse 400, this 400e has a epoxy-composite fabricated hull. The yacht ist lighter, yet stiffer, with the extra advantage of osmosis resistance. Although the yacht is lighter than standard, her lead ballast comes as standard, which improves the ballast ratio and sailing performance. This yacht wasn't used very often.
