Short description A light, stiff, fast and modern sailing yacht in a classic style
During construction, the stiffness and weight were the most important to get the best possible sailing characteristics. For example, the hull composite sandwich was built with a foam core and vacuum injected. The core is Corecell foam with closed cells so that ingress is excluded. This way of building is very light and stiff. The keel section is made of full glass and all puttings are Carbon reinforced. Many interior parts are incorporated in the construction, which gives the hull extra stiffness and saves on weight. The deck-hull connection is completely laminated and even the hull is reinforced with Kevlar. In short, with a weight of less than 5,000 kg and a particularly stiff hull, it is a great pleasure to sail with the Charlotte, even in bad conditions. She sails light-footed in all circumstances and is easy to sail solo.
Isotherm
Despite the classic appearance, you have a headroom of 210 cm in the salon. The bed in the owner's cabin is also suitable for people longer than 2 meters. Also provided with comfort mattresses.
Anchor fittings can be removed, so that the line of the ship is not affected.
Additional information
The Charlotte is unique. This beautifully lined sailing yacht makes people turn their head. Its classic appearance, however, puts you on the wrong foot as this is a modern sailing yacht built by epoxy vacuum injection. The result is an unprecedented light, stiff and seaworthy yacht that is very easy to sail solo.
