Waterproof plywood with glass fiber and 15 mm teak deck glued (new in 2012)
Steel keel with lead ballast
The hull is built of 28 mm oregon pine. These slats are glued together. Once the hull has been completed and sanded completely smooth, 3 layers of 500 grams of glass fabric, impregnated with epoxy, are applied diagonally. Both on the inside and outside. This results in an incredibly strong hull that can withstand a high point load. Ideal for longer trips.
The underwater hull was again fitted with Coppercoat in 2012.

The interior is in good condition, as is the floor. The boards can be individually secured.

This Van de Stadt 41 Caribbean is an extended Van de Stadt 40 Caribbean. Because of the 30 cm extra, the ship has extra storage space in the stern. Ideal for long stays on board. The current owner had the ship built with the aim to go around the world and has done so. The ship has proven itself in soundness and safety. Ready to leave again!
