This Jeanneau Sun 2500 was built in December 2008, after which the yacht was delivered for demonstration purposes in 2009. In 2011, the yacht was purchased by the first owner as a showroom model, after which the yacht was put into service. Currently, the yacht belongs to her second owner. Both the first and second owner have used the yacht little and mainly for day trips.
Despite the use for day trips, the Sun 2500 is indeed a yacht that can be used for longer trips. For her length, the yacht has a spacious and user-friendly interior. The largest width of 2.90 m and a wider stern certainly contribute to this: A large bed in the stern, a separate wet cell and a nice spacious cockpit. In terms of space and sleeping possibilities, this is an excellent yacht for a couple or a younger family. In terms of sailing characteristics, both touring sailors and more sporty sailors will certainly find something to their liking. Jeanneau has succeeded in combining the comfort and touring characteristics of the Sun Odyssey with the sportier characteristics of the Sun Fast series.

The interior of the Jeanneau Sun 2500 is spacious. Although the yacht has limited headroom, the interior is therefore easily accessible for taller people. Very practical and pleasant is the enclosed wet room with washing facilities and preparation for chemical toilet.
In terms of berths, the yacht offers plenty of room for 2 to 4 people. In the (open) bow there are two fixed berths, which are adjacent to the saloon settees. By lowering the saloon table (adapter available), you can create two extra (smaller) beds, or a spacious (lounge) bed for two; whatever you wish! The open aft cabin offers a large bed, over much of the width of the cockpit.

Equipped with a Yanmar 1GM10 inboard diesel, this Sun 2500 offers ease of use and reliability; especially on some rough and bigger waters. Although the engine is not equipped with an hour meter, the hours of use are estimated to be limited. The engine does not give the impression of being used intensively.
Engine maintenance periodically by owner himself, with new oil and filters. Last service spring 2023.

Compact and manageable, but certainly full-fledged cabin yacht with good sailing characteristics. The interior offers ample space for two, or even four people, with also access to a kitchen and separate wet cell. This one is equipped with a reliable inboard diesel engine and a keel centreboard, for a large sailing range and also the possibility to drop dry. Beautifully lined, with beautiful blue hull (repainted) and also a large cockpit to easily accommodate four people.
