Comments
Especially desingned for blue water sailing around the world. The long keel and canoe stern offer pleasant seagoing chracteristics, with good sailing performance. The yacht has a safe, comfortable and practical doghouse, which offers ideal shelter in unpleasant conditions, while navigating. Although the owner never had the inconvenience of any water in the cockpit, the doghouse can be closed off from the seaworthy cockpit, in case it does gets nasty. The yacht can be sailed singlehanded perfectly.
The yacht was build under Dutch supervision at a Polish yard. All the steelwork and appliances where shipped from Holland to the yard. The constructions were build according to drawings, which meet Lloyds standards.
Steel and reliable hull, with aluminium coaming, deck and superstructure for ideal low centre of gravity. Tanks are situated in the keel section.
The finished hull was sandblasted and two layers of epoxyprimer were applied, before finishing it with DD-paint of De IJssel. Repainted outside in 2003. The hull below the waterline is foreseen with Sigma Epoxytar and antifouling.
Since June 2003 the yacht was stored ashore, with the owners intention to maybe sail her arround the world once again. The owners dream has already came true and he now welcomes a new owner, to have the same wonderfull experience, as he did. Are you willing to take over the helm?
