Comments
The engine has undergone a thorough checkup, with preventative renewals and inspection of e.g.:
Cleaning coolingsystem and oil cooler, with renewal of gasgets and hoses. New injectors, fuelpump and coolingwater injectionpart. Also the propellershaft, its bearings, hoses and seacocks where renewed.
Judged by various mechanics the engine is in very good condition. The Volvo Penta MD32A is a small block 6 cylinder diesel eingine which runs smooth. As soon as the wind is gone the Dartsailer performs very well on the engine. By setting the mizzen sail the yacht sails highly comfortable on choppy waters.

Comments
Yacht had a complete overhaul of the rigging in 2010-2011, with overhaul of mizzenmast, new main mast, parts, halyards and blocks. Standing rigging renewed in 2004.
The Gaastra sails were only incedentially used in light weather and as good as new.
Because of various customizations of reefing system and divertion of lines and halyards to the cockpit, the yacht can easily be sailes short handed. The ketch rigging offers the possibility to sail simple and comfortable under every condition.
The masts can be lowered easily, which makes the yacht suitable for every kind of water. In case the waetherforcast does not suit you, you can always go through inner canels.
